Let it shine!
Spot UV varnish is an excellent way of adding some quirkiness to a standard business card, setting them apart from the competition with unexpected flair.
Simply select elements of your design you'd like the light to catch. The way it works is simple: a clear polymer coating is applied to the area and is then exposed to UV light, hardening the liquid and creating a hardwearing, glossy varnish.
We offer both standard Flat Spot UV Varnish and our recently developed 3D Raised Spot UV varnish; the latter providing a more prominently raised area using Scodix enhance for the best quality. Choose from either matt or soft-touch lamination to perfect the professional look. You can find out more about the processes in the FAQs.

Please note: due to the extra thickness of the 3D varnish, it cannot be applied right to the edge of your cards, as it would crack when they are trimmed to size. The spot varnish, shown in the first example photo above, will still give your cards very decent height.
