No Carbon Required

NCR Pads are a simple way to provide multiple copies of your documents when on the go. They are glued together with a cardboard backing and available with or without numbering. Ideal for invoices, reciepts and job notes.

Why write something three times when you can let an NCR pad do the work for you?

They are normally printed in black only to one or both sides and bound along the top edge. 2-part pads are on white/yellow paper, and 3-part pads are on white/yellow/pink paper. We can also offer any of the following:

- 4-part sets
- Colour printing to one or both sides
- Thicker top sheets
- Alternative paper colours
- 25 or 100 sets per pad

Turnaround Time

Standard: 4 - 6 working days

Turnaround times are from supply of correct, print-ready artwork, or if we are doing the design, approval of proofs. Working days are Monday - Friday and exclude bank holidays.

What does ‘NCR’ stand for?

‘NCR’ stands for ‘No Carbon Required’ It’s basically a type of coated paper designed to transfer information written on the front sheet onto the sheets beneath without needing an intermediary sheet of carbon paper.

What are the differences between an NCR Pad, an NCR Book and an NCR Set?

While they all serve the same primary purpose, our different NCR products are designed to make sure that they can be used in a variety of different situations.
NCR Sets are made up of a white top sheet plus one or more coloured under sheets which are all glued together along one edge. Each individual set comes loose rather than being affixed into a book or pad making them ideal for office use.
NCR Pads are made for people who are likely to be using these pads on the go for mobile sales calls or similar activities. With all pages glued together in an easy transport pad.
NCR Books serve a similar purpose to NCR Pads but are perforated and stapled as opposed to being glued together.

Is it possible to get a proof of my NCR set sent over before going to print?

Yes. we always make sure our customers receive a high-quality PDF proof of their work before anything goes to print. We want to make sure you are happy with your end product so if there are any errors or changes that need making, we like to make sure that they are caught nice and early.

Supplying Your Own Design

Please supply your design as a PDF file, with 3mm bleed. Trim marks are optional.

Please allow a minimum 3mm safe-zone inside the trim line, which should contain no text or other critical elements.

Please ensure all fonts are embedded or text is converted to outlines/curves.
