Are they ready assembled?
It depends on what type you order: the interlocking kind are sent out flat for simple self-assembly, whilst the glued folders are supplied assembled and ready to use.
Is lamination necessary?
Not necessarily, however there are always benefits to going the extra mile! With the thick card we use to print the folders on, the creases can crack when folded, especially on areas with heavy print coverage. We recommend lamination be applied on the printed sides of your folders to minimise this, as well as if you’re looking to give your folders a really professional finish.
How many sheets of paper can a no capacity folder hold?
A no capacity folder can comfortably take at least 15 sheets of typical 80gsm paper. No capacity simply means there isn’t a gusset so there is a point at which the folder won’t close comfortably if there are two many inserts.
Supplying Your Own Design
Please supply your design as a PDF file, with 3mm bleed. Trim marks are optional.
Designs should be supplied using the relevant template. You can download our templates here:
FOLDER TEMPLATES
Please allow a minimum 3mm safe-zone inside the template cutting lines, which should contain no text or other critical elements.
Please ensure all fonts are embedded or text is converted to outlines/curves.
